I have not made the leap to an expensive lathe. I have a cheap one ($135) from harbor freight. It does not have the digital readout and would not try to duplicate items without the digital readout. If i bought the larger 16 inch lathe with the digital readout, can this to do the same thing or would ...

The older kits that were modified before 2000, seem to have been done right and were modified when they first started doing laser cutting with photo etched parts. The newer ones that got modified seem to have not been assembled by the company to see if the changes worked. Thus, the problems you and ...

The key here is that they can only be so wide. I believe I use 990 pixels.
Model Shipways usually have good instruction booklets.
