Re: Making Stanctions with Lathe

Mike, I don't want to add to the confusion of picking out a lathe...I have been there. This is the entire package that I bought at one time. It is the lathe, all the accessories, and the Digital Readout. I got the Metric due to the fact that just about all the kits I have bought have been metric so ...

Don,
it is great to hear from you again. I think you have gone beyond the norm with the gallery. I think you would be the only one that I know of that has attempted such a feat with this box.

Re: First build. H.M.S Victory

Of what I can tell the Ayous seems to be a whitish / very slight greenish tint whereas the Mukaly is more of a whitish / blondish color. Seems both are very close to the same color.
Sapelli is going to be a very dark rich brown color.

Man, that is the best Cannons I have seen come in a box. WOW ! Man, I wish I could get this one and start on it. I am hung up with this San Felipe.....and working full time and a few hours each evening makes it hard to invest my time in more ships.

Re: Hello

Hi Pat and welcome ! I know how you feel, holding and using my Xacto Knife gets to me at some point. However, there are some exacto knives that are larger. I know it is not an electric tool. This is probably not accurate to say, but about 50% of your box is going to be lazer cut as you probably have...
