She is shaping up very nicely, Donnie! In general and in some details she looks like my Sovereign. Never again a 100 gun ship for me!

Looks good Donnie. I especially like the colour separation with the darker to lighter planking.

popping in to see how your project is coming along.......I see you took my idea about the railing posts and ran with it ;-) they look wonderful! you did a very very good job of it......even the double posts. she looking superb Donnie.......guess sailing ships are your focus.

speaking of that.......a few weeks ago, I got a package in the mail. it contained two hulls of the Marina II.......a fellow got them from E-Bay, and had them stored away for a while. we met, chatted, and then I guess he though I was a good target to load them off on   one of them could go on to become the model.......the other one is on my table at the moment, torn down to the bare frame {they are nothing to write home about}. it will become something else. I asked eric if he could supply me with a copy of the plans....I hope to get them soon.

Popeye, you really need to go to Artesania Latina to get the plans.

Popeye,
I am pretty sure someone on the MSW would help you with those plans.

I like the planking Donnie. I also think it would be a shame to paint the hull white.

Cheers

Hi Donnie, is it my imagination or are those walnut strips thinner than three light colored strips above them? If so, how do you plan to blend them in?

Regards
Eric

Lovely neat work on the planking Donnie. It sure is going to be a nice looking hull.
