Thank you John for the following information on the Triton Cross Section.

Scale 1/48
Length 220 mm 8.6"
Width 125 mm 5"
Height 180 mm 7"
This cross section is product which being developed by HMS Triton, this derivative products use same processing methods and accessories line with Full rib HMS Triton
Take the first using CNC to introduce the design of the plate without connection point, the design of the rib alignment hole, the design of the transverse rib slot and so on
FUll ribs
American red cherries are used for keels, ribs cross beam and stringer
The artillery carriage , fence, stair and other individual parts using black walnut
The ship building berth use Australia pine boards which flat and solid
Artillery as a whole, casting fireworks, the outside has done and dont need do any thing
Provide solid wood base and support

Hi Joe

I guess that in the old days which are well before computers and CAD, seen the plans where drawn that a plan would have inaccuracies in it.

With my Triton Cross Section there are no plans as scale 1:1 to the model.

That will make it a bit more of a challenge, but we will get there.

I was looking through the parts for the Triton Cross Section and decided to pull out a cannon barrel to have a look.

Yes I did have issues with shadows, but the cannon barrel I am more than happy with as the rest of the parts in the kit.

that cannon barrel is equally as good or even better than any U.S or European kit cannon that I have seen supplied as standard barrels Geoff.
