Shipyard Diorama In The 17th Century

Humbled by your generosity Bilal, thank you so much.

Just love the ALIEN in its space suit at the end there.

TechTrek......I never heard of Google Drive.....looks mega useful. Are there drawbacks?

Bilal..... here's a mission for you (should you accept it).....somewhere hidden away in one of your Turkish (naval?) museums is the original builders model of the 'Sultan Osman I', the ship that became HMS Agincourt in WW1.
I've only found one photo on the 'net in years of searching.
For those interested, a series of walkaround photo's would be very welcome service.
You wouldn't know someone who would be kind enough to oblige?
Happy new Year!

Dear @pugwash mission completed after 3 months. Museum still closed. So I asked from a worker at the museum to take some photos for me. I know they are low quality. Sorry for that. Bu after all it’s better late then never. It is 1/50 scale and overall lenght is 410 cm. 28735773-E810-4540-909E-5354493F43E5.jpeg0338DC56-B1A4-48C1-92F1-8825375207CB.jpegB54939AB-1429-4148-96B5-F365EE55621F.jpeg59EDADBF-8A74-441D-8AA5-6E910E496A9E.jpegC07DB800-CF95-4E72-B531-7927F993831F.jpeg2619692D-30AA-4496-ABD1-6B219384ECB1.jpegB4103483-53E7-4F9E-99AC-98D96457AEA1.jpegEFCACAE8-7ABE-4241-978E-4BC99F79C2B8.jpeg6E09F0E6-556C-41EF-ACBD-E6F8B1462491.jpeg72A5C5ED-6EE3-4598-A883-4DF0ECB35BDA.jpeg9C71DA80-51E3-4D15-91D7-E1F1C3C02CA1.jpeg341EC165-0234-4B2F-A953-483523C7C47E.jpegB2763FC6-76F3-4316-B16D-BFFB37272475.jpegE631930B-6A02-47BF-BA88-982FD51A240F.jpeg

Every once in a while someone can make your day. You just made mine!
Isn't that a splendid model? And about time we saw more of it; such a shame it's off 'most peoples beaten track'.
Considering it's behind glass, these photo's are just fine. I'm delighted, thank you so much.

You're wellcome sir. If I could enter the museum, I would take more and detailed photos. But I could not get permission to enter. :)

Bilal, I'm truly grateful. I would hope many more will be, as this is a model so well hidden it must be the origin of stealth.
Stay well and take care.
Incidentally, I'm one of the UK Astra Zeneca clotting victims. I've had no help or advice at all. When I tried to get help I was referred to an on-line 'yellow card' notification site .gov.
Had a call today offering the second jab......and for the first time someone took my call seriously. As a result, I think the smelly stuff will be hitting the fan.
Symptoms:- swollen feet and breathlessness at the slightest effort.
Over a month later, I increased my daily aspirin dose. The feet swelling soon went, but I'm still getting breathless.
I may have dodged a bullet (just).

I'm so sorry to hear that. I wish you get well soon. My prays be with you. I hope we will hear your healing news soon.
I'm almost 51 years old and goverment says that I'm not in the risk group. So I'm waiting my turn for injection.
We have Sinovac and Biontec vaccines in Turkey.
God knows which side effects they have.
