So wile my 1/48 Enterpize gets unstucked from the costums department, this little guy made it trough, i really wanted to see by my self how dubious the instructions to assemble these chinese kits would be... well this one is 50/50 some parts are not listed but the kit it self is not so big , so you can make a guess on some parts. The wood looks like , real pear wood, good quality, the laser cutts are fantastic ! The jig included, keeps the hull really secure and safe to work but once you remove it from the jig its becomes very fragile.
so far i have started cleaning the laser char, after this i will do some planks and hopefully the hull will become stronger, still a lot to do!

Thank you for watching!

Great, that you are showing this little model in a building log. I was also thinking about to order it......
But like Zoltan mentioned already, scale 1/128 is very small - I will follow your build with big interest!

I was also some what skeptical about it, but if you don´t give it a try , you wont know what you have missed, it is being a fun and rewarding model so far, very challenging because of the scale, small errors are made very easily, the parts are just too easy to brake, but above all i am having a good time with it. I think if you order it you wont regret it and you will also enjoy it.

Work continued with some planking at the stern, i was planning on making the cuts for the gun ports but i was not sure about the measurements, so i went with the decks first, this way i now know where to cut since this not a traditional build where you have the plans to help.Thank you for watching!

A very nice and detailed model, great work, this would make a nice model to have on the side as a sort of fill in, just to give a bit of variation from a big build, if you know what I mean, looking forward to the rest of your build,

Best regards John,

Hi all!
Work continued with one more deck and the opening of the gun ports, i have to say, working on these gun ports were a thrue big pain the A$$ !!! fingers as well! .. one extra push with the knife and there you go "crack"...
I got trough it and now i will do some planking.
Thank you for watching!

Best regards John,

Hi Neptune, regarding the variation from a big build i know what you mean, i got this Bismarck slowly going forward, and changing from plastic and photo etch to wood feels really good to break the monotony.

Cheers!!!40158037_263007837871525_3530327138647408640_n.jpg

Yes i have, and there is a Bismarck there, i really didn´t knew if it would be appropriate . I will gather some pictures and start the Bismarck build Log.

Cheers!

I am happy, that Zoltan asked.......everybody can start a building log of every model, definitely not necessary to start from the beginning.
We know all, that a model building can take years, so from every status on you can start.

If you have any non ship related builds that can be posted in Super detailed static models section.
