I have tried a few times before. I am trying to finish the latest Golden Hind ship kit...

Merhaba Hos. I was very fortunate on my last trip to Türkiye to pick up a model of the Bosphorus Sandal from Kudret Altinkeser of Tersane Models.I contacted him beforehand to let him know I was coming. I worked my way from old Sultanamet to Taksim Square to a small hobby shop down the street to the park. There I met fellow modellers and while I waited for him to fill out the order I spoke to kindred spirits. It's amazing how this culture crosses all barriers. I packed this kit back to Canada under my armpit to ensure safe travel and it is the next kit on my list after the Endeavour build. I have traveled the world and I have found the people of Türkiye to be the most gracious and friendly bar none.
