I am using plans downloaded from Parks Canada to scratch build the SS Klondike a Yukon River Stern Wheeler.



The SS Klondike is currently under restoration by Parks Canada in White Horse Yukon Territory.



I am currently mid way through this build here a couple of photos.





My original build log to this point has been lost with the MSW site. I will be rebuilding my log here from photos taken.

I began this project in Feb 2024. Below is a pictorial history of the journey to date. This is my first scratch build. The journey has stretched my modeling skills, in a good way.



All metal parts are sourced primarily from eBay and Bluejacket. The unique dual winch had to be scratch built from two Blujacket windless metal parts.
