Yesterday I was with my wife and daughter (5 years) ice-skating - everything nice, but cold.......
and off course it happened - I was falling on my arm
I felt some pain, but off course - I mentioned to my wife "no problem, not so serious".
but during the evening it went worse - so my wife sent me to hospital to make some checks - and indeed i had some small broken parts of the bones at my wrist and elbow of the left arm....

nothing serious, but I learnt some lessons, and the most important one:

when your wife telling you to go to hospital - GO !!!!

if you do not have a wife, but you have pain -> Go to a doctor

That's a BUMMER mate. I hope that you are right handed and you can still make dust in the shipyard.
What a way to start
the New Year.
I think our wives has a sixth sence regarding our health, but they are deaf when it comes to theirs.

SAGE advice. unfortunately as Men we have this thing inside our brain that blocks reasoning when it comes to medical attention. Its kind of the same reasoning blocking why we throw away directions to things only to find we need them later and refuse to ask for directions when lost. Rule #1 the wife is usually always right rule #2 see rule #1
I hope you feel better soon Brother, get some rest for your bones they heal much faster that way.

Please get a faster recovery, Uwek! Dis the Doc put your wrist\elbow in the cast?
Yes, yesterday I got a temporary one and tomorrow morning I have to go to hospital once more to get a permanent one, which I will have for 4 weeks.... have still some pain, but like my daughter mentioned „you will survive! That is the positive part“

@Uwek If I have a chance spot on your cast, can you write: Выздоравливай скорей! Then you cast will look international! :) I would ask to put mine on a permanent cast, instead :p

My friends: the paintings and Words on the cast are already reserved for my daughter.
She was very afraid when she saw it first time, so I had to accept, that she can make every day one painting on the cast. And she is five, so you can imagine, that there will be no space for your´ s, my friends.
PS: in Austria I am already international writing English .....
BTW: Jim, what does the Russian word mean? Maybe „to stupid to skate!“
