Dear members: my name is Ivan and I am a new member here. I live in Belgium close to Bruges. ( the Venice of the north they say). At the moment I am building my first big ship: the soleil Royal from Artesania latina. It is quit a challenge , but I go for it. I hope we can help each other her with our goal. I will post on regular base my progress. Greetings to you all.

Ivan - Welcome to SoS! We have alot of fun here and we always try and help each other through rough patches and dead ends. The human resources and decades of kit building experience are very valuable to beginning modelers like myself (and perhaps you too). Your work looks very clean and tidy...would love to see more of your work in a build log.

Here’s a welcoming and encouraging comment you could leave for Ivan:

Welcome aboard, Ivan! You’ve chosen a magnificent first large project. The Soleil Royal is certainly an ambitious build, but your hull is already looking very clean and well aligned. That’s a solid foundation for everything that follows. Take your time, enjoy the journey, and don’t hesitate to ask questions—this is a great community with plenty of experience to share. I look forward to following your progress. Best wishes from Miami! ⚓
Hey, ty for your reply, it is still searching in this forum where I can exactly post my progress and add pictures of my progress. Now I put extra wiring to put extra led lights in the officers quarters and also were the canons will be placed in the hull. Maybe you can help me where I should post my progress? Ty

Ivan - You can post your build log on the forum called "SoS Build Logs from Kits - Wood" as long as your Soleil Royale is a wooden kit. There are other forums for build logs from paper and plastic. Good luck and looking forward to following your progress!
