THANKS FOR THE HELP Don

Hi Don,
For the planking use the 3/8x1/8x14” material
For the waterways use (2) 1/2x1/8x14”
The carlings and ledges are ¼” deep.
This should get you started,
Mike

Hi Don,
I don’t know what the thin note pertains to, I think a gremlin added it when I was asleep at the wheel. Please disregard the note.
Mike

G'day Don
Just reread your log. You and Mike are doing an incredible job, and I'm thinking seriously that I will do a build myself one day in the district as not future.

To Mike41 and others, Sample of deck beam No.1, dry fitted, do not know if I have the corect camber it does not look like it, sowing different views need your opions on this and anything else you see that is not right, getting ready to order more materials from Dave at THE LUMBERYARD, the BOM calls for 1/4inch materials I think in order to get the camber right I could use 3/8 inch, but that would mess up all the carlins and ledges that are 1/4 inch, so I have to stick to the 1/4inch nned opions on this

Hi Knut, I am waiting for my lumber order to come in from the Lumberyard, this is the material for the MAIN DECK, should be comming in soon, I will be conentrating on both the BLANDFORD and THE MATTHEW, with some fill in on the PHILADELPHIA GUNBOAT, I like to have afew builds going at one time, in case I hit a roadblock on one I can jump to another it also keeps me from getting burn out by concentrating only on one, just my way. Don

Don, totally agree, it's always good to have something to go back on when the work suddenly stops.
I also have some other projects to fall back on.
Just go on, i will follow your progres

KNUT

Yes Dave, I will be posting on it today, I am doing the semi-kit from the Lumberyard, I will show the content and the plans I am using, as well as the 102 page practorium that I downloaded from the MSB site, are you going to start a log of yours. Don

I plan to, Don! I'm like you: I have multiple projects going so if I get bored or frustrated, I can move on to something else. Right now I'm finishing up the last details on my battle station, working on the aft magazine section, the Blandford cross section, the sharpie and my colonial schooner. Lots on my plate!
