hello my name name is dave im from wirral in the uk, my plan is to use the shipyard paper model of the revenge in 1/96 scale and convert it into a wooden ship kit, using the skeleton of the ship as a base and using the the parts of the ship as templates, i have never built a ship from paper or wood before so i really do not know if it is possible to do it, i have built many plastic model kits over the years all kinds of things, i have a basic tool kit and basic knowledge of woodworking and carpentry, i also have very little workspace, i have already to go the ship kit, the crows nest and mast's kit the sail's kit and the hearts, block's and deadeyes kit ready to go so as you can imagine i have spent a few quid on bits and bobs for the project and still have to buy rigging rope, this is going to be my biggest project to date...
