ROYAL CAROLINE 1:30 by Zhl my version, by Peglegreg

Our Admirals are the Masters and Commanders - you should make a building log in our area "The Shipbuilders Life" ;)
G'day @Uwek
That's a brilliant idea, I might do that. I'm sure there will be other family members here on SOS who would know what's I'm about.
I just checked my store of 5.4 meters lenghts and I've got 18 lengths still uncut and about 7 pieces from 600mm to 300mm of offcuts.
I measured every length of skirting that I will need....and added them up.

I need 95.825 meters for my skirtings and with my calculation, I've got 97.2 meters. Just enough!

Watch your health in the mean time m8. Takes a lot of time to get energy but its gone in a blinck of an eye. So take your time and days off to be in shipyard to get energy again
G'day @Pat71
If it was that simple, but I'll take it easy and rest up when I can and Luz will make sure of that herself.
Havagoodone mate.

Hi Greg,
Can we hire you also?. We still have to sand and paint and put in a wooden floor in our staircase over 3 floors.
But planning is to start with that next year so you have plenty time to finish your own project first. LOL.

Lots of succes and I will follow your new blog.

I sorry mate, you can't afford me.
In actual fact I've giving myself a huge discount, so I could afford to hire me!
I will post my updates on The Shipbuilders Life or lack of it thread.
How is your RC going.? I haven't seen any new logs from you for over a week now.

Hi Greg, I was already afraid of that. Hmmmm think I have to do it myself.

I have posted several times last week. Still baby steps but there is progress.

Greetings Greg,
Repair is not an action, it is a condition! You cannot finish repairs, you can only STOP them! LOL Wish you a good health and speedy return to a shipyard.
G'day @Jimsky

G'day everyone
The lounge room is almost done. This room is the hardest room in our house to do because of all the extra work that has to be done.
The wall and ceilings have been painted, the floor that been layed. I'm a bit frustrated with myself on this stage, as I took me 4 days to complete. I'm so slow compare to before Parkinson's, it unbelievable.
20181208_221815.jpg
My wife and I decided that we need extra power points in the lounge room instead of running extension leads.
20181122_121724.jpg
I installed 4 extra power points and moved one and the TV's outlet to a different wall. To do this, I cut away plaster boards to run the wires etc. and after all the points were in the correct spot, I replastered the walls. This took me 3 days, again I was slow.9
Then my wife had the great idea to put the tv on the wall, so I have to run cables behind the plaster. Also she said why don't we have a feature wall behind the tv.

This wasn't too long but another 2 day were taken up. The window frames around the 3 windows took 2 more days, as the position of each window was not uniform and the sizes were all over the place.
This was the lounge Room before starting.

After this room is done, we will having a break till after the New Year.
I'm hoping to get back to my RC for a short time.

Hi Greg,

Looks great with the new wooden floor. All your efforts pay off, and you have a happy wife at the Christmas table. :).

Looking forward to you rc which will renew uour energie levels.
Thanks Maarten for you for your incouraging worfs. We are very pleased with the floor results. My admiral always tells 'you maybe slower now, but you are doing it perfect'.
I don't know if it's TRUE, but I love her for saying that.

Looks great Greg, hope you finish up soon and get to enjoy the new lounge room through the holidays.
Well Mike, I'm on the home stretch now.75% of the skirting boards are in position and nailed, as well as all the windows frames..Then it's up to my wife to paint them. Lol.
Thanks for your kind words mate.
