Endurance Occre

A start - no matter how big or small, is a start. Good luck with your build and I trust that you will spend many happy hours in the shipyard.

Thanks to all, yes it is a start but everything begin with a little start, since now i completed all the wings and started the layer deck, i have to say that i also helping my sons making the miniatures of warhammer40k with all terrain so i takes me the (for me ) right time

Better a slow start than never
- who can imagine how many unstarted kits are laying around in the world?

I'm still building my Endurance which I started December 22/January 2023. Progress has been slow due to personal matters, not posted for awhile but I do a bit at a time when I can and am slowly getting there and am enjoying every bit of it. Hope you enjoy your build Maurizio.

Thanks Tanguy i hope to have a good time on this ship (i'm sure it will )Best of all thanks for congratulate me as photograph this is very special because all my family say i'm very bad behind the camera :))

So far i'd some pictures to post just to show the points where i sand the wood before and after.
I realized just the importance of a good sanding. It keeps away problems later when you see some parts not be well joined
The pictures are not maybe so good but i tried many times and those (with a mobile) are the best of dozens taken pictures ahahahahahahahahah

I've been a little further in the model ( in accordance with my job ) i started the first layer, i tried for the first time to use spins as the photos above to give the wood the correct position. As first job i put the wood in water to make it more elastic then i folded them with hot folder(i don't know the real name sorry hope it is clear what i used if not ask me and i'll post a photo)
As second i glued nailed and locked with some spins
finally i sandpapered all the part i did in this part of the modeling
Here the pictures of the finished job

ahahahah i would watch the movie too but as you said it is quite a bull...t.
As well i spend more hours to watch the frames for looking the queen and the brood instead to fight as bruce lee when i have finally a bit of time i stick on the boat some pieces of wood, usually i go to bed early because i wake up at 0600 to work with a little of fresh air

Hello to all people around the world... my season of beekeeping it beginning to end so i had some time to work out my favorite hobby which is ....sleep ahahaha no i am joking my favorite one is the modeling at all (boats, soldiers, dioramas, d&d and others)
Anyway i post some photos of the finished first layer, i firstly put all the wood on it then i used a Dremel for sanding and sawing the wood in excess

Hello to all after a middle long time just because i was all time working between bees and farmer's markets. When i got some time i go on in the boat as the pictures below, here is the hull sanded. I stll got some issues on the plank where it arrive at the top (where the boat move for first the sea) i don't know the name in english sorry.
All time it end for me short and i cannot attach or too long which is better but not a solution. If some has a point of view (read tutorials) on how to put the second plank in a properly way it will be appreciated :)
Anyway stop speaking and i show the pictures.
Next days i got some other pictures of the ships with some improvement before to pass to the next step which is painting hull in black
