Remodeled wreckage of the legendary Vasa. Titanic of the 16th century. (highest offer secures)
Description
Vasa' 1628. Historic Swedish (scale model) Warship As It Is Condition. Remodeled wreckage. Handcrafted to perfection in 1977.
The Holy grail of sunken ships handcrafted at a time when attention to detail was of paramount importance and choice of materials were of meticulous quality.
Detailed model of the actual wreckage.
Can be displayed as a model of the actual wreckage or completely restored according to exact specifications. (Detailed info available on the Internet)
As it is condition as similar to the real ship discovered from the ocean floor in 1961 and displayed in complete form at the Swedish Museum.
Commissioned in 1628 by King Carl Gustav for the then high-tech Swedish Navy.
48gunner with ornate brass embellishments on the hull.
Can be restored or displayed in as-it-is 'ocean-floor' condition.
3ft in length from stern to bow-mast.
2.4ft in height from Hull-bottom to main staff.
11ins to 8ins from stern to bow.
Exquisite detailed craftsmanship.
The 'Titanic' of the 16th Century.
My beloved Wasa is a remodeled wreckage as it appeared on the ocean floor. Crafted in the late 70s with old-school techniques that utilised better quality materials available at that time, according to my dad who passed it to me before he passed on in 1986.
Am intending to dispose of it to whoever is keen on keeping it as-it-is in it's wreckage form or maybe even restoring it.
The length of the hull from bow to stern is 2ft 4ins. If you add the bowmast, its 3ft long.
Height of hull from stern to bow is 10ins to 8ins.
Height from Hull bottom to top of main mast, is 2ft 4ins.
I'm hoping to dispose of it to the highest offer (postage charges apply and packing charges apply which might need some attending to considering its size and fragility of the ship).
I'm located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
If you're outside the country, takes 7 to 10 days to deliver.
Inside the country takes 24hrs.
The 4 masts will be gently removed before the hull is placed in a polystyrene/styrofoam box for added protection and safety during transit.
Shipping procedures will be initiated as soon as payment is received.
Much thanks for your time and interest, have a productive weekend ahead and best wishes on your respective boat-building projects.
