Touché, as you say enjoyable to build but it looks like you used something different to the nylon fishing line that is supplied. Also I notice you left off the transfers.
I thought I would change the colour scheme.

Excellent…have them both on my shelf….hope mine can finish up looking as professional as yours…well done

Wow, they look great! I have a soft spot for those WWI aircraft as my father was an Air Force pilot and I grew up on bases all over the place. I have 3 each of the Hasegawa 1/8 Camel, Dr.1 and SE.5a. So far I have built one Camel but it had an accident and is now wingless. I call it my instructional air frame. I am in the process of building a second one, between that and a Vanguard HMS INDEFATIGABLE.

I am glad to see more of these aircraft builds show up on this site. I am building the Curtiss Jenny right now.
That is an impressive list of current builds! I have REVENGE in my stash as well, the Amati/Victory kit. I have also built the GOLDEN HIND from Mamoli. I really like those old galleons, and especially REVENGE. I will hopefully get to it one of these days. By a quirk of fate I have two of the OCCRE HMS VICTORY kits brand new, and so I hope to build one of them sometime. I have four VANGUARD models kits in the stash as well, in addition to my current INDEFATIGABLE project. Like many people I have really big plans, less time to accomplish it all...

I may have bit off more than I can chew. I am not sure if I will ever finish the list. I find another model that I would like to try and the list gets longer.

I was reluctant to post pictures of this project because it isn't a ship, but this was a great short term project. Scale, determined by the bulb, is almost exactly 1/64, and all is made from pine from an old shelf board from the garage.

That is really something! At first glance I thought it was the old Airfix kit. Beautiful scratch building and a very neat idea putting it in a bulb. I assume it was constructed inside the bulb itself, in which case it must have been very complicated, like a ship in a bottle. Impressive!

There are some older posts of the admins saying it was okay to post aircraft model pictures. I think Donnie has a build post on here as well.

Please keep the aircraft posts coming. I enjoy the model ship builds but also thoroughly enjoy the aircraft also. I am current building the Nantucket and the Sopwith Camel

You guys are funny, this section is full of aircraft build logs and I have one of my entire 1/72 scale collection that I am always adding to.
