Some advice on La Real

Hi guys, I am currently working on my new project, La Real from Dusek models. I was wondering whether anyone can help me with part 35 which is a rigging rope going through half of the model. I am not quite sure what is the scope of this rope and where should the ends on both sides of the model end up. The picture as you can see is not very clear on this and does not indicate where to tie up these ropes. I do not think that they shld remain as loose ends.Thanks in advance.

That is certainly an unusual arrangement. Appears to actually be two ropes. Have you checked the rigging plans? I suspect the ends of those will be secured somewhere at the top of a mast.
 
My first thought was that they had something to do with the steering gear, but I don't think so. I've looked at a number of photos, but can't really tell. You might want to send a personal message to @keruj_JP who built one and displayed it on SoS here. He is still apparently active on the forum, so perhaps he can help.

Thanks for feedback. Will have alook at this built perhaps will get some answers....
 
Hi, looking at the era of this ship, could those lines be coming from a knighthead below decks up to a ramshead arrangement , for the ties of the main and fore top yard ?
