I have been building plastic kits for several years. I decided to venture into wood kits a few weeks ago. I bought a wood kit for beginners and it is so totally different. My kit was a Model Shipways kit # 950 The Dinghy. I’m almost finished and will post it later when completed.

Welcome to the fray. Your choice for a first model is fantastic, The entire three boat series is excellent for beginners to learn some basics.
