Intro and First Post

Greetings from Cincinnati. I am a plane modeler (RC and plastic), but want to give ship building a shot. My airplane build logs under UpNup are on rcgroups.com. I was practically given a Revell USS Constitution 1/96 and plan to trade it soon for a Wappen Von Hamburg 1/111 plastic model. This galleon-type ship is much more like the way C. S. Lewis depicted the Dawn Treader in his Chronicles of Narnia Series. I am finishing up a 61" wingspan Curtiss JN4D Jenny biplane and hope to get the Dawn Trader project underway by Thanksgiving.
