Just coming towards the end of the basic planking part…..quite an adventure. Looking forward I seem to have an inordinate number of planking strips. Obviously the basic planking uses the pear strips and the deck the Sapele but there is a ton of Walnut. Is double planking an option or am I missing something here?

I built the Tug Ulises by OcCre. My experience with OcCre Models has been there is almost twice as much planking and other woods than I ever need or use. I did not double plank. However I did make it RC capable so resin was used on the hull over the planking. The other woods like walnut get used elsewhere on the boat. Fun Build.
