Nearly finished this so I’m a little late, but wanted to share my build with anyone interested.
I have taken pics throughout the build and will add a few every day or two if this is acceptable.

It’s 0 scale 1:48.
This kit is so well produced, everything fits perfectly and the instructions are very detailed with excellent step by step guides.
One of the best and most enjoyable model kits I have ever built.

Hull straked , sanded and painted and first deck fitted.
Added the mounts for the sternwheel ready to take the boiler, etc.

I built it , too. It’s a great kit. I wish he would produce another ship kit. Very well designed and engineered. The lighting was a little tricky, but it turned out great.

I just did an internet search. These are all railroad figures. Don’t recall which sites I got them from.

All tucked away in the saloon quarters and added to the deck.
Wiring tested and all internal lights ok.

Weathering the black card on the roofs and deck to get the tar sheeting effect.
Dabbed with various greys with a sponge.
Came out well.
And a few more bits and bobs.

The weathered black deck looks very realistic, Neil. And you are making a nice progress with the build.
