French Longboat

Noticed there was a small separation at the aft end of the deck after I installed itIMG_2598.JPGIMG_2597.JPG. I thought I had it all secure but it was a mistake easily corrected. The second image is before glue and clamp

And here is the deck; Holes drilled and filled with wood filler same as floor boards, and then stained. I have made some progress on removing char from the seat beams, but not completed, sanded, stained or installed yet. That"s next. Thanks to anyone who takes the time to see thisIMG_2600.JPGIMG_2607.JPG

I made the escutcheons separately for the five seats indicated in theplans o they could be fitted better when installing the seatsIMG_2611.JPG.IMG_2612.JPG

sorry for the duplication. I detached the jig except for the bottom board with the frames attached, Used the heat gun carefully and sparingly. Inspecting the hull prior to fairing there is one frame on the starboard side which is a bit low and I decided to add a thin bolster rather than try to sand the adjacent frames to match.
