Building a small model railway in N scale. The whole thing is a bit of a test build. Want to build as light as possible with insulation board and 2 mm cardboard. The size is 82x160 so it will be stored behind a door. It also fits in the car so I can take it to the grandchildren for some train driving.
I imagine the environment to be German 1930s, an era that I have not built in before. The tracks are from Minitrix and the embankment Woodland Scenics.

thats going to be awsome! model railroad is so addicting. i once helped my brother in law with a big display in a few scales. as the train goes farther back in the display the scale drops. we got the same train in O, HO, N n Z. the big train up front goes in a tunnel and waits as the next size appears n this goes on all the way into the mountains in Z scale. the loop continues and eventually comes to the front again.

Polk's hobby shop, and the Walther's catalog and Lafayette's electronics in nyc were what dreams were made of back then.

i got the patch to kick the habbit!

love trains!
