I need advice on how these brass PE fittings are used in rigging model ships.

Those are the strops that go around the deadeyes. On a real ship they’re not brass. They should be blackened or you could make more realistic ones from wire. I believe that the smaller pieces are the links that attach the deadeye strops to the hull. Again, blackened them.

The cheap Chinese Halcon model that I am building to gain practice in doing rigging before attempting the Artesania Latina HMS Supply.
Chemical blackening is certainly an option.
Prime with Mr Metal Primer, or a Tamiya product and paint is another.

Hello everyone. Question: what exactly is it supposed to be used for? But what can it also be used for? With no instructions on it please could someone who has used it pls enlighten me. I have seen another B.M make reference to using it as an alternative for gloss varnish on normal paint finishes...
