DUTCH STATENYACHT 1767 by Jeronimo

G'day Karl
Beautiful work as per your normal craftsmanship!
I just noticed as going through your log again, that you didn't 'fill' the treenails, you just made a hole. That's a very good idea......no-one who was only looking at this great model would see them anyway. It looks so neat.

Thanks for the kind comments.

Deck superstructures mounted,
Completion of the model.

Conclusion: a nice model, for my taste it could have been a bit bigger.
Otherwise I think this kit overpriced.
The planking Rose-Wood (German Palisander-Holz) was me too dark for me,
so I used Elsbeere-Wood.
The carving would certainly be even more beautiful in boxwood and would
be more effective.
But overall I am santisfied with the result.

Karl
