I like to be a man of my word. I feel at times I have broken my word. So I thought I would let you guys know the intent was certainly there. Things just got in the way. I guess it is like most things. That first step is the hardest. I know what I want to do with the ST. I just need to do...

    Its been a long time

Hello to all, I want to apologize to you guys for the delay in rebooting the ST. After I wrote the “Well, what can I say” piece, I got the ST out. Got my tools out… sat and look at it for quite a while… I had no clue of what I needed to do next. So I reviewed the build log and finally figured...

Thanks!! Tomorrow will start the cataract issue. I hear it is a fairly easy procedure. The surgeon will review it and then we will set a date for the procedure. Hopefully, after that I can start on the ST again.

Thanks Donnie. I don't know how many times I have gone to the SOS just to stay somewhat up to date. It has taken me a long time to get to this point and I think I can finally get back to the ST now. Once I can see better, I will give it a go. I remember I was having problems with the stern...

I not sure I know how to respond to this. The bad things seem to keep coming. Some with no end in sight. I do thank you for your thoughts. I have been refreshing myself as to where I stopped on the ST; what I was thinking and what to do next. It is slowly coming back to me.

The big challenge is my fingers. The neuropathy can be quite painful. Working on the ST has a lot of repetition. I don't do well on that point. But I really want to work on it again, so I will just have to do what I can do. Thanks!

    Its been a long time

I think my body tried to run over itself. It is hard when, in my case, I have been healthy most of my life. Now I feel like I am falling apart. Thanks for your kind words. "Hold Fast" it is.

Hi there, This seems like a good place for this. My last entry was under “SOS Build Logs from – Wood, Don’s Santisima Trinidad by OcCre, October 23, 2017. Some of you, like Donnie, may still remember me. I have had one medical issue after another which has made working one the ST next to...

    Don's Santisima Trinidad by OcCre

Hi, Ever have one of those “ah ha” moments? You know… do I want soup or sandwiches or both? I have been working on the side plates of the captain’s quarters off and on for a few weeks now. It seemed no matter what I did, I could not get the side plates to look right. So the other day I...

Gary, After the last few years, I am glad I can do anything. I have missed working on the ST. Being able to do this has got my creative juices flowing. It is funny that some of the biggest challenges come from these tiny parts. Later, Don

Bill, Thanks for your comments. From what I can tell, there aren’t many records for the ST especially for its changes over time. Most of the focus on this ship has been its array and quantity of weapons. My research has led me to this point and configuration for the 1805 period. I am...

Hey there, Short of buying a CNC router table or a 3D printer, I couldn’t figure out an easy way to do the windows on the rear of the ship. So I filed them out by hand... all 258 of the little buggers. This was a painful process for me but I “Got-R-Done”. Yeah Me!! I still have the side...
