Here she is in the display case. On the left side of the shelf is the Model Shipways Privateer Rattlesnake that I finished in 1984. It came with a rough carved pine hull.

11/28/2023 My 1/72 scale Brigantine Phoenix is finished. It was a lot of fun to build and even better now that it's completed .

I soaked the sails in Minwax Pickled Oak, blotted them dry with paper towels, and then hung them up to dry.

All of the reefing lines are now done.

Well …… this thing has been sitting in my display room mocking me for 3 1/3 years. I’ve finished the Soleil Royal and a bunch of other stuff. I think I better finish this before my essential tremors make it impossible.
