This log is for my Dumas Gondola. This kit was given to me for Father's Day by my 12 year old son.
Here is the Unboxing.
The kit doesn't contain any history, but this appears to be a basic Gondola as might be found in Venice, Italy or even Las Vegas, Nevada USA. The kit is 15.5 inches...
My 12 year old son picked this out for me as a Father's Day gift. Perhaps something I may not have chosen myself but considering the source I love it! The salesperson at the local brick & mortar hobby shop thought it was a wood kit but it actually has wood and plastic components.
Starting...
It was suggested that I start a build log for this ship so here goes . A few of my good friends bought this for me they enjoy seeing me build ships , this is my first wood build all my other ships were in plastic .
My favorite out of 7 builds so far. She smokes and plays Dixie. Lights are remote controlled and she looks great on the shelf. Railing and ginger bread are laser cut instead of the stickers from Dumas.
