I start a new model for my collection. It is a "Lougre harenguier" by Fécamp, based on the plans in the collection "Souvenirs de Marine Conservés" by Admiral Paris and the monograph of the "Bois-Rosé" of the Association of Friends of the Navy Museum from Paris. The system that I follow for the construction of the hull is that of disposable frames. This system of disposable frames I already showed it in my previous Build Log of the Tartana de Liguria
I believe that the photographs clearly show what the process that I carry out. I started this model about ten days ago, and the last pictures show the current status of the work in progress.

Hallo Javier,
it is looking soooo easy to do, when we follow your detailed and self explanatory photos -> Many thanks for starting this new building log, so we can enjoy in the next weeks your new built.
BTW: These small drawing sets from the association are great - not so expansive - often from ships which are not standard and not well known - so an extreme good source of information. I think also included is often (or every time) a small history of the vessel.
I had some in my hands during my visit in Rochefort - Very good resource (if you know how to read such (often copies of original) drawings...

Thank you very much, Uwe, for your comment
You’re right; the monographs of the A.A.M.M. are interesting, although it should be noted that they have nothinh to do wth the details ofthe ANCRE monographs.
I continue wth the job of the herring lugger....BEA7FFFC-7587-4881-A2BE-F250302C24E8.jpeg5A6445B4-4C75-49AE-90EA-18DD5DB5EC8E.jpegE7929F35-E864-43A4-9FE8-72C71B4735B1.jpeg

Javier, looking good, it looks like you're building your models in a very short time, How long time do you take on a model?

Hi Javier! Considering just a few months for a build, size, and attention to details - this is just amazing work! I would name the type of models you are building "A Fleet on the Palm!! Very impressive. A big Thank you from all of us for sharing! ;)

Hallo Javier, this vessel has a very interesting deck equipment

What are these boxes for?
Somehow filled with water to keep fish fresh ?

View attachment 77795
They are boxes destined to collect the fish when it is unraveled from the net in which it has been hooked by the gills. Iff fishng was done near the port of landing, the fish was kept on deck for sale in fresh.

The equipment for the deck is practically finished. The aft structure is a support for the main mast when it was shot down at the time when the fishing was done, leaving only armed the mizzen mast and, sometimes, the foremast. Now touch the painting session before starting with the placement of masts and sails.

The masts are ready with all their elements. I would like to emphasize that the mizzen incorporates a weather vane in its crowning. And another aspect about which I call attention is the network that appears in one of the two coves that for that purpose are located aft of the major. In this case, I have taken the license to dye the net greenish, to accentuate the contrast. Although the model will go with the masts upright, in one of the photos I present it dejected, to see how the boat would be in a position to fish. 79952799537995479955799567995779958799597996079961799627996379964

Many thanks for the update - especially because today is your birthday and you "work" here and post - many thanks for it and "Happy Birthday" my friend.

This vessel is getting more and more interesting - I like the type of working boat very much - it is visible technique

Happy birthday Javier from the Land Downunder Birthday-Cake
This model is amazing and doubly amazing because of your minute scale.
I NEVER go any smaller than 1:64 scale, but you have so many very fine details at 1:200.
Unbelievable!
Keep up your great work. I'll be definitely be watching the thread.
