I have allways been impressed by the Beauty of her colour shape and the nice and so simply designed transom giving m a naval Interpretation of the stylish taste of the Georgian era to us today.

LEOPARD with a slightly different gunport arrangement.

And as a solid base to build in
we do have got a cardboard kit of her close relative

HMS LEOPARD by Oriel - sadly scaled down to 1:100 (not being in 1/96 as I would like to get it.) Here two Pictures of the model:

So the possibility to exchange the decor and redo the gun ports are given. It isn't done in a few weeks it is Here placed to become a long term time to time project.

So hopefully you like it...
As I do think I will certainly deal with the rebuild of my French "beautyfull hen" BELLE POULE first, from time to time turning to HMS TYGER 1681 based on HMS MORDAUNT by Oriel and looking in here to drop some new information in here as I am not shure If investing in the hull is my best die or If I should follow AbHoving's advice for scratchbuilding on the plan set from the NMM.

This is the big question.

Hope you like it.

Upscaling from 1:100 to 1/96 meens copying by 104% but is this a good idea due to the fitting of the parts?

If somebody is interested here is the book review of the mentioned book:
