1/12 Beetle Whale Boat-Mystic Seaport Plans

Wow! I just found this thread and the techniques are awesome. I bought the Ansley book years ago when visiting the Mystic Seaport and have wanted to try building a New Bedford whaler in 1/48. Now I think I can adapt these techniques.

Your whale boat looks fantastic. I'm currently building the Model Shipways kit and really enjoying it. My plan is to display it on the David's. I'm looking forward to following the rest of your build.
