I have recently bought a pinnace from an antique shop.

It have been clumsily made and is missing some pars.

I have no plans to work off and I would like to fashion a tiller.

An anyone tell me the dimension I need to work to, or a photo of that part of the plan would help.

Thank you in avance.

Just recognized, that the blocks of the rigging are installed wrong - they should be 180° turned

Hello,
I only paid ÂŁ25 for it and so far have spent more than that on parts.
Thanks for the heads-up on the rigging, I have no plan or instructions so I'm working a bit in the dark.

Just to show what I mean.

The ropes are running over a wheel in the block to be able to work

f.e. some tackles are shown here

the ropes on your model should be only thread through the correct hole (I marked with red arrow)

so no new material - you can correct this easily, if the ropes can be re-used

Thank you. I'll have a go.
This morning I plan to cut out a new rudder and tiller. I'm working on photos with some measurements.
It may take a couple of attempts to get it right.

I have the full scale patterns if you would like a copy, let me know.

I suggest that you change the flag. The boat appears to be French not English. Ancre has published two monographs of armed French longboats and your model resembles these.
