After finishing working with the large model, I wanted to make something simpler and smaller! I took a drawing from ANCRE and this is the result - the manufacturing process.

What is the cannon barrel made from?

The barrel was machined from lilac, lilac — my favorite material for such parts. External parts were made separately and glued into milled grooves. This is followed by a primer in 3 layers with intermediate grinding and 2 layers of matte paint. The main thing — is to choose a tree so that no lies appear when painting! All barrel lifting details are bronze.
