Hello folks -
Brand new to this forum, in fact my first post, so apologies if I got this in the wrong place.
I'm wondering if anyone has seen plans (or a kit, which I doubt) for 1877 TALL SHIP ELISSA. She is a three masted 'barque', iron hulled, and ~200'.
She is anchored in Galveston TX and I understand still sea worthy. I have contacted the museum there and they can't help.
I toured her and she is beautiful. I would like to attempt a build.
Anyway, thanks!

She was built in Aberdeen, Scotland in 1877 by Alexander Hall and Company. You might contact the public records in Aberdeen and see if they have anything. There is no kit that I know of and have never seen a list of plans for her. There is a lot of information on her here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elissa_%28ship%29. She has been converted many times so her present state is has undergone several revisions. There are many other reference in the wikipedia that might have plans of the restoration. Good luck.
