18th century furniture

I have been pondering a similar idea. Except instead of 3D printed, I will try micro CNC cut hardwoods with laser etched details.. Sorta like a mini-kit.. perhaps in different scales... common deck items... furniture, tools, etc.

Sorry, just thinking out loud.....

G'day Mike
If you can do that, you'll have customers everywhere mate.

Greg - only for my good friends at SoS... :)

ADC - doll house furniture is what gave me the idea but not small enough scale for most ships. 1/35 scale is also a common military plastic model scale that can also substitute for 1/32... potential for cross over items.. HO scale/model railroad I think is 1/82... a bit too small. But anyway.. I digress... good ideas..

Some simple utilitarian ship furniture could easily be made from scrap timber. This table found in the Vasa shipwreck or the English type below could easily be replicated in any scale.B5392AA9-2728-47C9-8DCA-0284B1462290.jpegD0D83FA5-D01A-4A71-84D1-0607FD5521F6.jpeg

Hi Mike,

Great idea, there were some included in my 1:30 scale Royal Caroline kit, but only laser cut and no cnc. Cnc manufactored would be excellent.
See below the ones from my RC. Slightly altered to fit my taste and interior.
