2.0 to 2.5mm eyebolt supplier

Have you tried making your own from brass rod or copper wire? Make a loop around an appropriate size drill bit then remove and, solder (or not) and it's done. Ring bolts can also be made in a similar fashion. The ring itself can be made by wrapping the wire around a bit multiple times, then snipping off each ring. Assemble to the eye bolt and close the ring and it's done.

Easy to do. I use these and they work very well....View attachment 496492easy to use too....
I didn't know these existed until I saw this interesting post. I note that the version shown does a 2.25mm hole which seems a bit large but the same manufacturer produces an alternative that does a 1.5mm hole. That would be more akin to the eyebolts supplied in most kits I have bought. I may buy one (another toy!) though I could probably buy about 600 preformed eyebolts of various sizes for the same money.

I haven't found any suppliers at 1.5mm.
So I bought it.

It's a good thing you said something. I ordered one thinking the 2.5 mm was the outside diameter. I cancelled the order and got the smaller one on the way.
Same day delivery from Amazon and a little cheaper.

I just received my BeĂ dsmith 1 step looper. (Link shown above) And it makes perfect eyebolts in about 5 seconds including cutting the eyebolt from the coil of wire. No need to aneal the wire. The quality is the same as all the ones I've seen in the kits I've built. I particularly like the consistency from btro bolt.

When I decided to buy the looping pliers discussed above, Amazon suggested (successfully!) that I also buy the wire bending pliers shown below. This was unusually helpful. Normally when I buy a tool, Amazon presents a "customers also bought" list comprising, say: a barometer, a mattress and a set of curling tongs.
The yards on my current build (Cutty Sark) have a lot of eyebolts for rigging blocks and jackstays. These need to be short so as not to stick out beyond the thickness of the yard. Hitherto I have been cutting the ends off eyebolts from the kit. I also need 'eyebolts' with a long shank to support the footropes. The kit suggests making these from twisted thin wire. I can now make eyebolts with customised lengths.
The concave pliers could be useful for forming rings of various sizes and possibly dead-eye strops. I wish I had bought them earlier in my current build.

Thank you @Short John Bronze.
I have some of those and find them quite handy.
For the rings I need for this build I wrapped the wire around a drill bit and snipped them with the spruce cutter..
I found the tool pictures in one of the used kits I bought. Then, recently saw a video where it is used for twisting the jump rings. (I don't know the correct name, just what the jewelry making sites call them ) it's a lot easier if you put the ring on before cutting the eyebolt down to size 17376617915368502205641629784864.jpg

Interesting timing on this topic. I just picked up a pack of 200 brass 2mm eye pins, 1.5 inch shaft, from my local Walmart two days ago. Check the aisle for jewelry crafts. The pack was less than $5.00. They also had packs of brass flat head pins which make great nails. Same price.
Wishing you success.
John
