Simply incredible craftsmanship... Even with a shop full of tools and all of the individual skills necessary, I couldn't imagine the amount of patience and vision required to keep up with such a laborious project. Thank you so much for sharing your work!

Hallo Karl
very good work - looking very good
Clever idea with the golden leaf (Blattgold) to get the imagination of brass tubes !!!
One question: How you cut the octagonal square of the the pumps on your circular saw? How did you get this real correct form.

Linie/ Abstand ( hier 3,48 - 4 x ) schneiden. Fertig.

Grüsse
Karl

Hi Uwe,

this is not gold leaf, but striking metal / brass.
That was the alternative for a brass rod with a diameter of 6 mm,
which I did not have and would have required a trip to Wiesbaden, 78 km.
It works like this too.

Production of an octagon stick
Thickness of the square bar x0.29
Example:
12.0 mm x 0.29 = 3.48
Mark this dimension on each edge of the square.
That would be the future edges of the octagon.
Set the circular saw blade to 45 degrees and with the stop on the marked
Cut the line / distance (here 3.48 - 4 times). Finished.

regards
Karl
