An appreciation.

Thank you for the warm welcome, I'm one of those guys who built plastic model ship kits as a boy, yet always wanted to climb the high ladder up to the more accurate and authentic wooden genre.
My preferrence is for 19th century Georgian/Napoleonic Ships of the lesser classes, Frigates, Corvettes; Brigs and Schooners; but those of the better quality kits.

I recently bought an Artesiano Latino 1:48 scale model of the HMS Bounty , lacking the instruction booklet unfortunately (the Hobby shop dealers assure me he'll get one) and I'm now researching a HMS Surprise kit, any advice from members here is welcome.

also from my side a warm welcome here on board of our friendly forum

A big hello from another member of the unofficial welcome wagon. I’m sure you’ll enjoy browsing the various topics.
