Mashed my finger with a hammer. "Lure" is a few shavings from some orange 550 cord and some ca. Best idea I could come up with at the scale.Cute bucket for sure.!!
Not sure what is on the fingernail.?? Looks like two little blood blisters.!! Is that supposed to be a fishing lure..???
This bucket is looking very good - is bringing some life into your boat model - only some fishes are missingWhile not technically sjip related, thought I'd shre the fishing pole and bucket . Poor little boat was looking kinda bare.
Nice work! What do you use the little rake for? While not technically sjip related, thought I'd shre the fishing pole and bucket . Poor little boat was looking kinda bare.
Rake?Nice work! What do you use the little rake for?

You must have LONG armsIts a backscratcher
I chucked a 2mm carbon rod in my drill, tapered to a point. The eyes are solder twisted around different size drills, legs shrink tubed down. The reel was painted balsa with a wire standoff, and the crank was a piece of solder with the ends melted to balls to make the handles and sharpied. Id like to see that tackle box of yours, might make one too. Btw, carving some fish to drop in the bucket with some acrylic water. This diversion is fun while scratching my head over my recent botched efforts at a real ship.Nice add-on's. Those kinda things make a model much more realistic. I like the rope rub rail. Well done.
How did you do the fishing pole? Mine was a plastic bamboo stick, in a try to make an old bamboo pole. It's kinda thick out of scale. Did a mushroom anchor, window sash weights anchor, coffee can worm holder, tackle box, all with varying degrees of success.
I did a skiff kit which prompted me to build scratch rowboats I remembered from Grandpa's place when I was a kid.
Outboard Boat, Motor and Trailer (Small Boats)
I found a 3D file for an Evinrude outboard motor online that I liked and thought I could use in a build. I finally got one printed that I liked and turned my attention to a suitable boat. I found “Chessy” on Svenson’s Free Boat Plans. As I was completing the build I started thinking about a...shipsofscale.com

Fish is the bucket? What is the limit in your fishing zone for the type that you are going to catch? Fantastic rod to work with . PT-2I chucked a 2mm carbon rod in my drill, tapered to a point. Yep. Leftbout the suppers when I installed the bulwarks, bulwark, a bulwark rail (they weren't very scale anyway), put gobby awful finish on the wood stand (3 attempts), repaired the keel ( fill, sand, fill, sand) several times to get the hull in the stand and the screws were too big AND I didn't follow directions). I think she doesn't want to be built. Decided today to shelve it for a bit, and start the 18th cent. armed longboat. Sometimes, you just have to step back and rebuild confidence with something different.Oh, so it's a head scratcher!!
