The colours of the flag are incorrect. Until 1660 or so the top colour was orange not red.

I am by no means an authority on Dutch models or history and not qualified to comment.
The gentleman who built the models is however. A B Hoving is a member of SOS and I posted the pictures as a compliment to his talents. Perhaps if A B is watching he could pass comment.

Thanks for the pictures Alan, I had almost forgotten this project from the time I was still building with wood. Nice to remind me.
