Hello all
I am starting today a new project: 1:84 Amerigo Vespucci from Panart.
I have been looking at various kits of the Amerigo Vespucci (Mantua, Panart, Occre, Mamoli, Heller) and finally decided to go for the high-end model from Mantua/Panart.
It is indeed more expensive than the other models (I paid 711 euros) but considering the time that will be required to build this ship and the quality of this model, I am happy with my decision.
The first step is to go through all the elements of the box.
Considering that the ship can be sold either in 1 large box or in 8 different smaller boxes, the documentation is divided into 8 booklets, 1 per box. So far, those booklets look very comprehensive.
Below pictures of the various components included in the box.

Hi Gilbert,
That looks a great kit.
When you consider the length of time and enjoyment that this project will give you it will be well worth the price.
Good luck with the build altho looking at your last build you will not need it.
I will be following this build.

I will follow your build with great interest.

Hi Gilbert,
I will love to follow this build. I am excited for you - good choice. This will be a fantastic build. Congratulations on your purchase.

Hello Gilbert, good luck and above all have fun with the build. I also bought this kit last week despite the opposition of the finance minister, I'm still leaving the box closed because I still have to do the last jobs on the Endurance's rigging, and if
half autistic I can't be busy with 2 things at the same time so I'll start after the holidays.

Hi Alskabear
Great to see that you'll be starting the same build.
Will you create a build log?
It will be fun to exchange ideas
