Amerigo Vespucci - Occre By BLD SHPS

Thank you Grant it is a fun build but can get a little frustrating at times trying to fit everything on the deck, with your skill you wont have a problem.

Thanks everyone!
Hi, I know this thread is a couple of years old now but I have a question. I'm at the point where I'm adding the little square shaped things to the side of the ship. How did you attach them? The illustrations are not clear.

Thanks for the reply. Is that the brass rod that the line is attached to? On the Ocre model, some are attached at an angle and the rest looks like they're just glued to the side, but it's hard to tell. Even in Ocre's step by step videos the guy is shown making these but it doesn't show him mounting them. Btw, what are these things supposed to be?

Hello. If you are still watching this log I wonder if you could help me. I am currently building the OcCre 1-100 version of the Amerigo Vespucci. I have searched everywhere I can think of including an interactive online video of the actual Amerigo Vespucci. I am thinking the rigging instructions with the kit may not be correct. If you would not mind sharing a moment could you tell me how you attached the different stays at the bowsprit for the foremast and at the fore and main mast respectively for the other stays. The instructions direct me to tie them off to an eyebolt at the different spots without any type of tackle to tighten them. On previous builds the loose ends went to heart blocks or through a block down to rails on the deck.

I think I just took the easy route and feed the thicker black line (stay) though the eyebolt and then seized it using the smaller brown colored line.
