I am happy that you get what you need pain or no pain - Even I find myself this forum is helpful to me as - no, I do not know everything even if I am the founder.

Yes, I'm learning so much from others experience here, I'm a 68 year old Vet who attempted wooden ship model building when I was a mere boy, bits and peices of softwood, string "rigging" and pocket knife carved "ships guns".

Then came plastic "Man o War" ship kits which I never finished, just couldnt come to terms with the artificiality of it all.
So here I am embracing the reality of wooden model Georgian/Napoleonic Ship building and loving it.
