I hope someone responds. If you have specific questions you can reach out to the museum in Madrid and perhaps others in Spain. It has been a long time, but when I had a technical question, they were gracious and helpful.

As far as I know, the Spanish Navy never had a ship of this name in this period. We had a long time ago a longer discussion about this on a German forum. Sorry but I couldn't find the old thread.

Hi Ted,
I don't know if these would be helpful but I found the following with a quick Google search. Hopefully there are more
Books about 17th-century Spanish ships include Six Galleons for the King of Spain by Carla Rahn Phillips, which details the ships' construction, bureaucracy, and imperial context, and the Osprey Publishing title Spanish Galleon 1530–1690 by Angus Konstam, which focuses on the galleon as both a treasure ship and warship.

I don't know enough to have detailed questions. I still have plenty of time before I get to rigging. I'm in tempted to just s go with something like the McKay book above and substitute in place. I read the Panart instructions from cover to cover this morning. Going to have my wife bring me the parts for Canon carriages and a few tools some time today. It will be something simple to get started again and is a bunch of busy work that needs to be accomplished.
Happy Thanksgiving to all my friends. May you have much to be thankful for.
Ted
