so an internet entity, that is based and registered in Canada is setting itself up and the "only" authorized Occre product selling in the United States.. And its apparently working through shopify....

Yeah totally not legit.. Any one who made a purchase i would suggest you start being very careful with your bank/credit card statements for what ever card you used to purchase. And as the sight is only 5 months old,, even worse.

The fact that working through Shopify tells me is legit ,Shopify requires business numbers ,identity validation and many other things.All payment goes through Shopify ,tracking numbers and ,Pay Pal payments also.

Thanks, Jim for following up on this. I find that reaching out to the parties involved is always a better way than jumping to erroneous conclusions.
It appears Lucozorma is filling a void created by Model Expo and Occre parting ways last year.

I would also add, many non ship enthusiasts refer to old wooden sailing ships as "Pirate Ships". I know I have had several confused blank stares when I tell people I model "Age of Sail War Ships", and then I often follow it up with "Pirate style ships" and then I typically see the person realize what I am talking about.

and do you have any explanation as to why the registration states the business as being registered, and physically existing in CANADA... is advertising itself as the USA company...
