I purchased this model because I'm of Dutch decent (Dad born in Middle Berg, Netherlands), and wanted to build something with some Dutch boating history that wouldn't be as difficult as the US Brig Syren which I just finished.. The Botter model from Artesania Latina seemed to fill the ticket but has been a mixed bag of good and bad. I want to know if others have had the same response. The Good..the lumber is quality compared to my previous builds but that is where it ends. The Bad..the instructions are very difficult to figure out, the pictures on the instructions are also difficult and confusing, the part numbering (High Tech Cut) only deals with the laser cutouts not misc. lumber, wood etc, no dimensions are given for any parts what so ever, the video log I found through the AL web site has very little to do with the kit provided (very confusing). I'm still building and will so. Just wondering if others have had any experience in this regard.
