My AL Bounty kit was purchased 18 months ago. Being my first kit, the build is progressing slowly. So just recently I discovered that a particular size of mahogany strip was missing.
I found a page on their website that allowed for ordering of components from any of their kits. I dutifully filled in the kit and part details ensuring I mentioned that the parts were never in the kit as supplied. Proof of purchase was also requested, which I did not provide.
A few weeks went by and I received an email notifying me that they had shipped the parts from Hong Kong to Australia free of charge. Sure enough they arrived soon after. The packaging they prepared for three short, thin strips of wood was probably capable of protecting a set of hand-crafted venetian glass goblets.
Full marks to Artesania Latina for exemplary customer service.

I like Artesania Latina products, but I think the explanation booklet about the model and plan is very inadequate...

This seems to be a problem with many of the kit companies. I concur with your opinion of the instructions. The further my build progresses, the less detail is provided.
But I can not take away the excellent service I was given with respect to my missing components.

I have just finished the Sopwith Camel by Artesania Latina and I found the instructions a bit challenging but got through ok. I too had some parts missing and AL sent them all with no questions asked.
I also had questions that needed answering and if you ask in a gentlemanly fashion then I found AL excellent with their responses. They even asked me to submit some pics of my model. This I did on completion and was rewarded with a very complimentary email and a request to use the pics on their community site. I had changed the colour scheme to one that matched historical aircraft.
