Hello I have recived a model of the Astrolabe 1812 from a fellow builder that had to stop building
Several years ago. He knew I was into ship's so he asked if I wanted his Shipyard. He has a lots of goodies.
This is what his ship looks like now.
So I am going to clean it all up take stock and build it for him. Unfortunately he has takin a turn and has lost his memory. They say he's on his last legs, sadly he will have to look down form above to see it, but I will finish it for him.
About the Astrolabe, I am looking at the plans and what I can gather from info I have shearched for is this has lots of mistakes in the plan and instructions . I have peeked at a few logs for the Astrolabe here and found some really great information about this horse barge. I am really looking forward to getting started on this ship.

As I try to settle in to my new log, getting to know we're to post and we're to find info will take time. I did write my password down though lol,.
Looking around mostly, looked a a few Astrolabe logs and got some really good info. It will take time to learn things.
I have clean it up and stowed all the part away. I need to fix the channels up, to many holes have been drill in and most are not in the right spot. The cannons were brass and the carriages were finished a clear coat. No sure if my picture is to big so I will post more later. There is so much work to do lol I feel Like a kid in a candy store,
