Attaching pulley blocks to yards

As part of my Endeavour build there are a number of pulleys attached to the yards. Those are close to the yard and I am tying a simple knot and then applying a dab of glue to the knot, allowing to dry and then cutting off the ends. However sometimes the knot undoes. Any ideas on the best knot of technique for stopping that? Thanks.

Thanks for the response. Certainly looks to be useful knots … my life is literally tied in knots as I start all the masts and rigging. Will review and see how I get on.
