But really good books - I think, that I have also all three, and they are worth the money - Enjoy
Just got my copy of Goodwin's book and it is excellent. Filled with photos of a model of a similar cutter, along with a wealth of line drawings and history of the Alert. Found it on Amazon for $95 which fulfilled it via a used book store in Reno.

I picked up both volumes of "ship modelers notes" from someone on this suite, and they really are a gold mine of information. I like volume I better, but volume II is a lot easier to find.
